Every Easter my mother would make an Easter basket for both of our dogs as well as for me. Back in those days you never heard anything about chocolate being dangerous for dogs. I guess it effects each dog differently because it certainly did not seem to harm ours. Not that I condone giving chocolate to your dogs because it can kill a small dog! Porky on the left lived to be 17 years old and Snoopy on the right lived to be 14 or 15 years old. Both of them would wait patiently for their chocolate while they had their picture taken. As a child I always got such a kick out of this. I also think it is worth mentioning that I still have the coffee table, end table, stool, and lamp in the picture. They are all still being used in my family room!

Love the Easter picture! My beagle wasn't a big chocolate eater but he'd devour spaghetti with more joy than his dog biscuits!
